Heritage Neighborhood No. 1, Tyler’s first local historic overlay
Tyler’s first local historic overlay, Heritage Neighborhood No. 1, was marked on December 11, 2009, at College Avenue and Lindsey Lane.
Its 18 properties straddle the Brick Streets and Azalea districts, and owners need a certificate of appropriateness for exterior changes or demolition.
Note
The overlay governs the buildings; no source says it covers the brick pavement.
