Dr. Archie S. Senate moves his practice to East Erwin
Archie S. Senate, an African American physician and surgeon born in Tyler in July 1878, practiced at 113 1/2 East Erwin in the 1920s.
He moved his practice to 210 East Erwin Street by 1934, on the 200 block where Black entrepreneurs, professionals and investors bought buildings and ran businesses.
